The ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO is an ATX motherboard for Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors using the LGA1851 socket. Four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 256GB of memory, with dual-channel operation and XMP support.
Its six M.2 slots combine three PCIe 5.0 x4 connections with three PCIe 4.0 x4 connections, alongside four SATA ports. Rear connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4 Type-C, 10Gbps and 5Gbps USB, while Wi-Fi 7 and two Ethernet connections provide wired and wireless networking options.
